PC auto-shuts down couple of minutes after turned ON - help!

Hi Everyone,

I'm a new member and hoping that someone can give some pointers to fix the problem I am having with my PC:

PC: Home built (3 years old)
OS: Win 7
Hardware: Intel® Core™2 Quad Processor Q6600
Memory: 8GB
Box: Antec Black
HDs: Seagate / WD
Mobo: Gigabyte

Thank you in advance for your help. My home built PC (antec box, Intel Quad core CPU, 8GB ram) that I built few year ago has stopped working since past several months. It was working phenomenoly until this problem showed up.

Symptoms. I turn on computer. While booting, it goes through BIOS checkup as usal. Sometime, it even reaches to the point of start loading Win 7. And suddenly (within a minute or 2) , the computer abruptly just shuts off. This happens now every time.

What could be going on? I wonder if heatsink on CPU is damaged and CPU heats up (?). It doesn't sound like memory error to me either. Where do I start for debugging? I am baffled and unsure where/what to look (?)

Very frustrating! Please help!
