What is wrong with this Rig Build?

Hello everyone,

As the Title suggests... I've built a custom PC and had it delivered from a Computer shop. After spending a long time deciding what rig to get and what hardware it came with I finally finished on the following build.

I pretty much researched every component and built it specifically for Gaming, and was expecting to get a solid 60fps in games such as Battlefield 3, Diablo 3, etc etc...

However, after using the PC for about 2 weeks now I'm finding that in huge Diablo 3 multiplayer battles my fps tanks to around 5-15 fps.
Again with WoW... I cannot play it on ultra or anywhere near, with a steady FPS.
After reading reviews of the hardware I have in my new rig, I expected to be smashing these games out of the water graphically, alas this is not the case??

My Build is...

CASE: Silverstone Raven RV01 Chassis w/ Advanced Vertical Heat Dissipation with Window
CPU: AMD Piledriver FX-8350 Eight Core 4.00GHz (Socket AM3+) (Overclocked to 4.51GHz)
CPU COOLING: Corsair H80i Dual Fan Advanced High Peformance Liquid Cooler
MOTHERBOARD: GIGABYTE SABERTOOTH 990FX AMD (Socket AM3+)
MEMORY: 16GB Corsair® Vengeance™ DDR3 1600MHz (4x4GB)
GRAPHICS CARD: AMD® Radeon™ HD 7970 3GB GDDR5
POWER SUPPLY: 850W Corsair® Enthusiast Series Bronze 80 Plus Certified PSU
HARD DRIVE BAY 2: 2TB Seagate® Barracuda™ SATA 6.0Gb/s, 7200RPM, 64MB Cache
HARD DRIVE BAY 1: Samsung 840 Series 120GB SATA 3 6Gb/s Solid-State Drive
OPTICAL DRIVE: 20x Dual Layer DVD±RW/DL SATA Drive
PERFORMANCE COOLING KIT: Corsair AF120 Quiet Edition: Low Noise, High Airflow (Dual Pack)
OPERATING SYSTEM: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit

My Monitor is a Samsung SyncMaster T220 1680x1050 60hz

Can anyone point any flaws in this build? Or possibly advise me on what I should improve?
Thank you.
