I'm using an old Dell Dimension 4600 Series desktop running XP with sp2 that I just reinstalled. I also just updated with Service Pack 3, etc. Now I notice I have no sound. The speakers are connected as before (color coded) and the sound card hasn't been touched. I'm aware I have very little memory (256M) but not ready to upgrade in that dept. yet. I'm not sure what else may be missing that I would need to make this machine acceptable for use. All help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
