How to remove a device from the Control panel

Hi. I've recently bought a Logik Webcam with Built in Microphone to replace my damaged built in HP Webcam in my laptop. I tried to install it and initially showed that it was succesfully installed. I searched for it and could not find it. I went to the devices and printers under Hardware and Sound (control panel) and that's where i found it. Problem is when i connect the device, it does not work. Every time i insert the CD, instead of the wizard installing, the dialog box just gives an option to 'are you sure you want to remove all the features of the highlighted text'. I've thought of deleting the icon from the devices and printers and don't know how as it is not available in the programs of the control panel.

Ntsira

This is my laptop
