My Build:
Asus M5A99X EVO R2.0
AMD FX 8150
2 Corgsair XMS3 DDR3
Evga GTX 660 ti
Ultra X4 730W power supply
So basically this is my first build. I got it quite a while back but i
Havent been able to use it for the past couple months because of multiple
troubles that it has been giving me. So it worked for awhile but all of the
sudden it began to blue screen frequently. After trying to fix the problem
for about two weeks, the computer just decided to give out. After multiple tests
I came to the conclusion that it must be the motherboard, or the cpu. Dont bother
telling me its a power supply problem because i know it wasn't. Now I rma'd the
motherboard first, when i finally got it back the crashing problem persisted. So
the only logical thing left to do was to RMA the cpu. When i got it I installed it
and when i turned it on it would not boot. So I decided to barebone it and figure
out why it wouldnt post.
Now my assumption is that for some reason its not recognizing the new cpu. The thing
is that the dram-led stays solid until i try using the mem ok! button as directed in the
manual and then it blinks indefinitely.I dont believe its the ram because it posted
before i rma'd the cpu. So basically ive pushed by computer skills and patience of over
2 months BS to the limit. I just want my computer to work because im sick of
using my programs on my laptop because of the lag.
