Solved: 3 tb hard drive, formatted as 2, new computer want 3tb

I installed a 3 tb drive and created a 2tb volume, not using the other 1tb.

Now I am moving it to a new PC and want 3tb, either as 1 partition/volume or 2, don't care.
I don't want to loose the 2 tb data if possible.

I can't find a method to either increase the 2 tb or do anything with the other tb.
The system seems to recognize the 3tb so that isn't the issue

Would appreciate suggestions.
