I am currently running a windows 8.1 PC and have been using a 256G Samsung SSD as boot drive.
I am contemplating buying a new PC and some come with only regular Hard drives, some with full SSD and some with SSD cache.
I am going to remove my current SSD and put it in the new system so I am assuming it would be a waste of money to buy a system that had a full SSD pre-installed. Is this correct? Is there an advantage of having 2 SSD's in one box?
But what about systems that have a cache 32G SSD. Would this be of any use to me if I keep my main boot drive on the full SSD? Or should I just save my money and get a regular (non-SSD) system and move my own SSD over.
Thanks.
