I apologise in advance if I have put this thread in the wrong area - feel free to move it if necessary.
Now, I am looking for a solution for my company and I have thought about a variety of different options but all of them seem very complicated so I am welcome to replies and suggestions!
I have a reception area in my building that welcomes new visitors and clients. I need a TV/Screen/Solution that can be updated regularly (every day) which tells the visitors what is going on in the building. It does not need to be interactive. Just like a powerpoint that has one slide saying what's going on.
However this screen is going to be permanently wall-mounted and putting cabling for HDMI/VGA etc in is tricky. I was hoping for a wireless solution however putting display content via wireless apparently is difficult if you don't have Intel WIDI. I do have a server and multiple client workstations.
I'm trying to keep costs down hence why I did not go for a bespoke solution.
