Laptop dead during the winter suddenly revived

Hi Everyone! First of all I want to thank those who helped me when this laptop die back in Jan. Especially Gr3iz. So tonight, I had a thought to try to turn on this laptop that went dead suddenly overnight in Jan. The power could be turned on, the light went on as well as the fan, but that was it. The screen seemed to be on but stayed black. I opened the back and tried removing the RAM sticks and turned it on. Nothing changed. I know I do not have a problem and that is what this place is for. But I am really curious. I wonder if it is the cold because that was a brutal Jan. And my house get freezing cold at night. What do you all think. Again, thanks!
