Hi everyone, I’ve tried so many things to fix my problem but I simply can’t do it myself. I recently was given a new keyboard after I broke the spacebar on my old one, and I’ve been having a problem ever since with it disconnecting randomly. Things I’ve tried to fix it:
- Uninstall/reinstall
- Updating, uninstalling and reinstalling drivers
- Trying different usb ports
- Checking to see if it’s using too much power (it’s not)
Anyone have any ideas what I might try? It doesn’t disconnect too often, maybe once every 30 mins. Each disconnect lasts about 10 seconds. This happens regardless of whether I’m gaming or typing, or not even on the computer. I don’t have any other problems with usb devices, so is it possible that the keyboard is faulty and not my computer? The computer I bought recently second hand, and the old keyboard wasn’t a usb-powered device, it had one of the old round connectors.
