No games, but everything else runs fine!

This has been an ongoing issue.
It's come to the point where I'd actually like to know what's going on for educational purposes.
The games themselves run fine WHILE they run.

Issue:
Whenever I play a game, it shuts the game down in 1-10 minutes or the computer will shut down. No matter what.
No other application will shutdown. More often than not just the game will shut down.

Troubleshooting I've done.

Cleaned out all parts with compressed air.
Monitored the temp of all components. Gpu not over 60. Cpu not over 75 at any point.
Replaced that graphics card.
Replaced that power supply and tested with 2 OTHER known working psus (Because this screams power issue)
Replaced the ram.
Replaced the OS hard drive and reinstalled the OS clean on a new one. (Issue occurs within Windows 8, XP and Windows 7)
Uninstalled Drivers for my graphics card and installed different ones (After cleaning the drivers out in Safe Mode)
Checked the motherboard for bulging/burst capacitors but it seems fine.
2 memory passes on my ram going through them systematically to make sure all the dimms work.

So it's the Processor or the Motherboard.

Has anyone had an issue like this before? Can anyone give me any tools to better diagnose the health of my CPU or mobo before I give up on this rig and go blow $2000 on another box.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
