First boot question/s

Hey guys, posted a while back and had lots of help on building my first gaming computer. Ended up putting it on hold for a little while but finally got it all together and built it today! I am very excited to be running a new machine! Anyways, I did not realize neither the motherboard or case came with an internal speaker. I know for first boot up, some like to hear if anything is wrong, or better yet, a reassuring beep that everything is right. How important is it to have one? Seems helpful but not required.

Here's my build list -
FX-8320
M5A99FX PRO
G.Skill Sniper 8GB (2 x 4GB)
Seagate Barracuda 1TB
Asus GeForce GTX 760
Corsair 200R
Corsair Enthusiast TX650W 80+
Asus DRW-24B1ST

Like I said I have everything in the case and hooked up to what looks complete. I have not yet turned anything on until I have a better understanding of everything I will need to do. Should I get a little speaker so I know everything is or isn't working?

Any other tips on what to do or how to do a first boot? I do not have an OS yet, (tigerdirect is being very slow for me) but i figure I can make sure all the hardware is solid and functioning in the mean time.

Thanks guys
