I'm trying to fix a laptop for someone, but I can't quite seem to figure out the problem. After the computer has been powered on for about 15 minutes or so, the screen suddenly gets all crazy and the computer shuts off. If I try to turn it back on, it will instantly shut back off after about 1-2 seconds. It takes several minutes before it can be booted up again. Even if I don't let it run for 15 minutes or so, and I shut it off after only 10 seconds while it's still booting, the results are the same. There currently is no battery in the laptop (I was told the battery wasn't charging), and I already tried using a replacement power cable. Any ideas?
