Toshiba Sattellite p750d will not boot

I really don't know if this should go here or in a more generalized subforum
I have a Toshiba Satellite P750D-BT4NN2
Part No. PSAZ1U-05J01S
Serial No. YB107702K
Windows 7 but I can't remember if it is 32 or 64
I am a beta tester in a game and I kept having the client crash on me if I turned the graphics up too high (actually it was the whole laptop shutting down and having to be rebooted, not just the client. I thought my poor laptop just couldn't handle the graphics, until my friend who has a laptop with lower specs could play it at highest quality.

Today when I was playing a different game, the fps kept causing my computer to crash. It finally dawned on me that the heat sink was probably overheating (inspite of the external fan I bought). I took it apart, cleaned the massive amount of dust out, but when I put it back together, the laptop will turn on, but the screen stays black. The best way to explain it is that the laptop seems to be stuck in sleep mode.

I tried connecting it to a tv via hdmi, but the tv does not register the laptop, even tho the laptop lights up to say an hmdi cable is there.
I tried taking the battery out and running it just onhe power cord.
I tried taking the battery our and holding down the power button for 2 minuntes.
I tried starting the laptop without the ram/hardrive and battery in, and with every variation of the three being in or out, including nothing being in the laptop at all with it conneced simply to the cord.
I tried holding down zero, putting the power on and waiting for the beep to start the factory reset, but there never was a beep. I did the process anyways, but nothing happened.
Tried turning the brightness up.
Tried playing with fn and the various f keys.

If you need any more information about the system, just ask. I tried to download my gf's system image to a usb so I could try that, but the usb I brought was not compatible with it. I am currently waiting for the computer to die off battery so I can see if that does anything, but as I said, it is like it is in sleep mode, and that might takes days.
