Which Hardware

Hi All,

First off, i'm not really too sure which section to post this in as i can't really find a 'perfect fit' so apologies in advance but please move this if you so desire.

In a couple of weeks i will be building a new computer desk for my self (i'm a home worker in the UK). I know exactly what i'm doing with the desk as it will be a 'floating' desk with the heavy supports not visible at all.

Visualizing how this will look in my head i started to wonder if it would be possible to move my 2 work laptops (with docking stations) and printers to the other side of the room and still be able to use them in the normal way.

The way i see this happening is with massively long wires for the mouse, keyboard etc... but thought i would throw the question out to more knowledgeable people.

Another solution would be to install shelves under the desk that will hold the laptops but thats something i've just thought about typing this out.

I've attached the rough layout of where everything will sit at the moment. The blue square is where i would like to home my laptops if at all possible
