I'm trying to troubleshoot a friends computer again. She has had multiple problems with it. Today she brought it again and this time it won't boot at all. This is a custom build & has the M4A785-M Asus motherboard. She has windows 7 32 bit installed. I'm not sure what processor she has.
What I have done is tried to use a boot disk...UBCD. It tried to load it and then it got stuck. I finally had to remove the disk and shut down the computer. Now it won't let me do anything. When I put the Windows 7 disk I have been getting 5 short beeps and then a pause and 5 more short beeps.....this is continual. Does anyone have any suggestions? I'll probably end up doing a clean install of windows again.
