video issue -Ubuntu

Having problems playing video. You tube or anything like that not working. Using Chrome. While my VIA video has been identified as a probable problem running ubuntu, have not tried games. Can someone recommend something to test.? Tried different video players with pretty much same results.


onboard video is- Via S3G Unichrome IGP
