Hi,
Can someone point out what is the cause of this discrepency;
I have a 1TB Drivepro that a buddy of my is having this problem when he attaches the drive via USB to is desktop he sees the 1TB avalible copies some stuff and he can see it and access it as such. When he connects this same external Drvepro to his notebook now he can see the folders but can not access the files. he says he gets "you don't have permissions to access the folder" on the Drivepro. Next he copies files from his notebook to the 1TB drive he can see them access them but when he attached the external Drovepro back to the desktop he can see the files he created with the notebook but can not access the folder as well. What could it be? I hope the description of the probem is clear enough.... Could there be a setting in the OS file system that is causing the problem?
Any though will be appreciated... Charlie
