I have two (well technically 3) options to hook a USB printer (Canon Imageclass MF4150) up to my network.
Option 1 is the USB port on the back of the Netgear router
Options 2 and 3 are the USB ports on the back of my Seagate GoFlex Home NAS devices.
I would prefer to use the router option, but after 2 hours of configuration testing and troubleshooting, I'm not getting anywhere with that, except to possibly be out of luck as Netgear states they dont support multi-function printers.
When using the NAS on 192.168.0.150, the driver appears to install, but I can't print. If I hook the printer up to the lap (or computer) it prints fine. I think it's a port configuration error, but I've been unable to figure that out.
Can anyone suggest a way to get the printer portion working?
