Hello,
I'm building my own PC, Till now I have bought the Case ( Aerocool Strike X ) ,the motherboard (Gigabyte GA-990XA-UD3), and the PSU ( Corsair GS700 ).
After placing the motherboard into the case and putting the screws in etc, I noticed that putting more than a number of screws causes the motherboard to bend, so I avoided that. Thus only 4-5 screws are screwed, and very lightly.
My question is, does it do harm for the motherboard to touch the back of the case? There came no plastic-spacers with the Case, but I saw my motherboard has some already attached to it. Could it be that it really doesn't touch the back of the board, or not? And if yes, is it harmfull?
Thank you.
