I have a proper copy of Windows 8 in my PC - here's the config:
Processors
Number of processors 1
Number of threads 2
Name Intel Pentium G620
Codename Sandy Bridge
Specification Intel(R) Pentium(R) CPU G620 @ 2.60GHz
Memory Type DDR3
Memory Size 2048 MBytes
Microsoft Windows 8 (6.2) 64-bit (Build 9200)
Graphics adapters 1
Now, the problem is: I have two 2GB RAMs inserted in place, but it shows up only one of it. I've tried using both RAMs separately, also tried both RAM slots separately, and they work just fine, the system shows up 2GB RAM on both occasions when I try using the two separately, but when I place both in place, using both the RAM slots, it still shows up 2GB only.. why is that?
Is the Pentium processor too old for Windows 8?! Should I just throw away my processor and get a completely new package.. motherboard/processor n all?
Please help.
