I have a Sony VAIO VPCEB390X with Windows 7. Recently I have tried accessing my webcam, and got an error message stating "Camera not found. The camera is either being used by another application or is not connected. Make sure the camera is connected and working properly, then try again."
Now, I have uninstalled the USB 2.0 driver under the Drivers Manager in my control panel and reinstalled it. I have also uninstalled the Arcsoft Web Companion 3 and reinstalled that as well, and yet my web cam is still not working. I'm super frustrated with this situation and am in desperate need of help!
Side Note: I'm also having issues with my VAIO Media Gallery constantly attempting to update but always unsuccessfully. Could this be causing the webcam issue?
