Hey guys I'm working on a laptop with Vista 32bit for a friend, I've had it for a lil under a week and I cannot figure why the wireless adapter IS NOT DETECTED. Is it possible for a virus to delete it? I ran Mbam and found 1 trojan deleted successfuly, and BUNCH of adware deleted successfully. Yet I went into device manager and it not there under ANYTHING. I was hoever, able to reinstall the software for it from HP's website....weird. The button on front just stays orange no matter where you put the slider switch. I'm REALLY stumped guys, can you help?
