Cannot Install Graphics Drivers

My issue started about a week or so ago when I starting hearing a weird noise coming from my XFX AMD Radeon 6700 Series graphics card. The cause seemed to be the fan. I then started experiencing random shutdowns which I knew had to be because of my GPU overheating. My card was ending up around 70-80 degrees celsius on standby alone. I figured there was something wrong with the fan. I wasn't able to manually control the fan speed through the software provided by AMD, and apparently, it wasn't spinning fast enough for it to effectively cool my GPU. I went out and bought a new graphics card, a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650. I brought it home, unloaded the AMD drivers, hooked the card up to my computer and installed the new NVIDIA drivers. Everything was working fine, in fact much better than it had with my AMD card. Just a day after purchasing it, my display randomly shut off again. I tried tweaking with my card a bit more. At one point I thought it might have been something to do with the power supply, so I took it out of the computer, unscrewed the top and cleaned it out with an air duster (along with multiple other components in my computer). After reconnecting everything I was still getting issues with my display. I'd reach the BIOS screen just fine, but as soon as the Windows loading screen (would) pop up, my display would shut off. I changed my BIOS settings to use the onboard display hardware and was able to boot up just fine. I booted up in Safe Mode shortly after and attempted to uninstall my drivers (Add/Remove Programs --> NVIDIA Graphics Driver). Partway through the uninstallation, it locked up. I had to force quit the uninstallation and wasn't able to uninstall anything else after that; it would give me an error stating that the "Found New Hardware" wizard was open or something along those lines. I attempted to restart but my computer would not shut down. It locked up at the "Shutting Down..." screen. Every reboot after this point was a hard reset. After rebooting in Safe Mode again, I tried to install the drivers again. I selected the Custom Install, selecting all components and selecting a clean install. When attempting to install the Graphics Drivers, it locked up about a sixth of the way through. I've tried countless times to work around this, but the installer locks up every time I try to install the drivers, and I'm unable to uninstall the Graphics Drivers (nothing happens when I click the "Remove" button in Add/Remove Programs).

I've given up for the night and have ended my struggle by performing a System Restore to four days ago. Hopefully, if anything, this should allow me to make some progress with reinstalling my drivers.

If anyone has any clue as to what may be going on or any tips for me as how to fix it, please share. Any help is greatly appreciated
