PC shuts down randomly

So I had this a 2 days ago, and I fixed it by just randomly plugging in and unplugging my video card and my vga cable. My pc was fine for 2 days.

And today, a new problem came up. My pc kept shutting down randomly, even without doing anything. But the first 2 encounters were just me browsing the internet.

What might have caused this? It's not an overheat I know. Can anyone tell me what parts/factors might be causing this?

PC Specs (in case it helps)

Palit GeForce 9400GT 1GB 128Bit DDR2
AMD Athlon 64 X2 2.7GhZ
2x 2GB Strontium DDR2 RAM
BIOSTAR NF615 Micro AM2 Mboard
Hitachi 500GB HDD
PSU is 550W, I don't know what brand.

It is a 5 year old desktop.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, please help. Thanks!

EDIT: Checked the Event Viewer, seems like i'm getting a Kernel-Power Event 41 Task (63) error
