Okay - this one has me a little stumped.
Got a Toshiba L505D laptop that was getting power but no image would come up on the monitor (or an external monitor). I figured it was a motherboard issue because:
- No HDD sounds (HDD did spin up but it was not being accessed)
- No keyboard lights (num/caps lock)
- Removed memory and no POST code beeps
- No beeping if 1 keyboard key was continually pressed
I ordered a used motherboard (seller said it had been tested and was working) but I have the same issue.
If it wasn't for the list of items above I'd guess it was a power inverter for the LCD, but those items don't fit that. I have confirmed that the motherboard is getting power.
Any ideas?
