i have a old dell-latitude d-800 WINDOWS 7 ENTERPRISE which as of today the cd/dvd rom is not worling, I went to device manager there is a exclamation point on the device, I tried to uninstall the device several times it wont work.
I opened the hardware and devices manager troubleshooter and the following message appears
QSI CDRW/DVD SBW242U ATA DEVICE HAS A DRIVER PROBLEM NOT FIXED
HARDWARE CHANGES MIGHT NOT HAVE BEEN DETECTED
Any suggestions on how I can resolve this issue anyone?
