My computer is connected to an LCD TV via an hdmi cable. Last night I moved my computer upstairs along with my TV. I plugged the hdmi into both ends, turned on the TV first as instructed by the manual and then turned on my computer but nothing showed up. I tried changing the settings on my TV, putting the cable into a different slot, using a different hdmi cable, but nothing worked. The thing that confuses me the most though is that my TV and computer were working just fine yesterday. it's not a problem with the hdmi cables because they both work with my PS3. I am unable to change any setting in my computer either since it is a desktop rather tan a laptop. A few moths ago I had the same issue but somehow if fixed itself overnight although sometimes i would have to wiggle the hdmi cord around inside the slot to get a picture. My computer specs are
GIGABYTE GA-B75M-D3H Motherboard, AMD Radeon GFX Card, Intel Core i5 processor, 8 gigs of ram, and one Terabyte of hard drive space. This is all running on a windows 8 operating system
