I have an HP prolaint ML110 sever using Window 2000 server (yes, old). Hard drive is a Raid 1 with 2 disc hard drive. One of the hard drives went "critical". I replaced the bad hard drive and hit Cntrl F to enter the Fastbuild utility by Promise Technology and it only offers 4 options. 1. View array 2. Define array 3. Delete array 4. Configure array. There is no option to 5. Rebuild array.
I looked online at the manual and it shows the 5th option and instructions. Anyone know my version of Fastbuild 1.0 and how to rebuild an array?
My computer presently won't boot by a: or CD ROM. I tried to change the boot menu many times. So, not sure I can install a new utility. Unless a better idea emerges.
I would appreciate any ideas on how to rebuild this hard drive and work with this Raid System.
