I have an HP Pavilion dv6-1355dx. It got a drink of coffee on the keyboard a while back. The v key stopped working and the speakers made a sizzling sound for a bit then just stopped working. I am not very tech savy (I am a nurse) but I downloaded the manual and was able to replace the keyboard which now works fine. I initially replaced the audio board but still did not get sound. I then went and replaced the speaker assembly. I still have no sound. The computer is working fine otherwise and I am convinced that I connected everything correctly.
