Problem finding driver for windows common controller/wireless receiver
now i have looked everywhere before doing this, i have a Desktop which is running on windows xp professional sp 3 (my PC was originally vista, i no longer have the disc) now i have tried to do the same as i did before on vista, download the driver from the website (i downloaded the xp sp2 or later for this xp OS) and install it , then i go to system > device manager and go to update and the "select from a list of drivers" option but the driver is nowhere to be found, i also tried this with my aunties xp sp2 laptop but the same thing happens, i cannot find the driver in the drivers list when i go to update , so any help i would be eternally grateful for. thanks
i have been trying to look for help for this for quite some time i'd say at least a year, i tried Microsoft answers and they didnt know how to help me install one of their devices on their OS... and they kept asking me the same garbage (I.E , is it plugged in properly?
