Dual Monitor Set-Up

For sometime Ive been trying to set up a duo monitor on my computer for streaming/gaming purposes. Ive finally set them both up sadly they both display the information being processed from my 1st Monitor. Both are Dell Monitors only difference is 1 is 22" and the other 19" I just want to use the 19" as a secondary to view my desktop while I'm in game. I had to buy VGA splitter since the 19" doesn't have a DVI port. How do I get my computer to identify my 19" monitor I currently have an AMD 7700 Series graphics card and an MSI Motherboard.
