I am getting a new PC that will no doubt be running UEFI instead of BIOS. But I have several multi-partition data disks (i.e. non-system disks) in my current BIOS-based computer that I would like to move over/install in the new box.
Question: Can I just pop them into an empty hard drive bay and use them as is? Or will I need to convert/reformat the disks to GPT to have them be recognized by the new PC?
If I need to convert, can I do so without losing any of the data on the MBR disks?
