Solved: setting up audio when i have multiple screens

Hi,

Hoping someone can help me please.

I have 4 monitors, 2 graphics cards, running Windows 7 Professional.

I have just had to swap out one HDMI screen (which gave me sound) for an older VGA. No sound anywhere (not surprising). One of my other screens luckily has HDMI, so I have just changed its connection to HDMI/HDMI (was HDMI/DVI whilst i had the other HDMI screen), and rather expected to get sound. but no. yes, i have used the icon bottom right of the specific screen. and i have tried the remote control (its a TV). nothing.

I haven't a clue what to do next! I should say this HDMI is on the other card to where the previous was.

Any info gratefully received.
