pc wont boot with 2 new sticks of ram

Hello I have an asrock n7ad-sli mb that I used to run with 2 ddr2 2g ram sticks. So I bought 2 new rams ticks exacly the same to upgrade but when I plug them both in my pc will not boot. It will only boot with only one of the new sticks in it. I have checked and made sure that both work amd I even made sure every slot in my mb works.
