What to upgrade first?

Hi Guys, Many thanks in advance for your help and support for what is probably one of the highest ranked questions around due to it having a plethora of answers dependant on an almost infinite number of options and combinations.

But as the title states, what do I upgrade first? Many moons ago I built the following system (with help) but have since fallen out of the geek elite and no longer keep on top of the latest and greatest. To that end, I need to know where the hold up is and will a simple (to you guys) overclock solution work?

System as follows:
OS: Win7 Ultimate 64bit SP1
MoBo: XFX nForce 780i 3way SLI
Pro: Intel Core2 Quad Q6700 2.66GHz
RAM: 6G Corsair DDR2 (should be 8, one stick went pop) (Can I put any stick in its place or does it have to be the same?)
GPU: 2x NVIDIA GeForce 9500GT strapped together (SLI)
Power: 1000Watt PSU

I play WoW (someone has to) while watching YouTube or a movie on the second monitor whilst also using Media Centre media extender to stream movies and TV to my xBox360 and TV by proxy.

Sometimes the lag on both TV and PC is unbearable making all systems unwatchable. Is this an argument for buying NAS or some other snazzy box rather than messing with my hardware?

I have a fair budget but do not feel the need to go OTT, a starting point / order of purchase would be fantastic.

Hoping for a consistent response and again, many thanks for your help and support.
