help restore old xp hardrive

Hi a good few years ago my xp px decided to give up with a blue screen cant remember the fault code but i did get a new xp computer and tried booting it but came up with same blue screen fault.

Im now on vista and was wondering if i could somehow retrieve the files on it as a lot of it is sentimental value
