I have a ibuypower Lan Warrior and a Dell XPS 420. Both computers were working fine a few days ago with no problems. When I tried booting up my ibuypower the monitor displayed a message that it was going into power save mode. I hooking up a second monitor and got the same problem. I then unplugged the vga cable from the graphics card and plugged it up to the motherboard and the computer boots with the onboard graphics. The computer is only two years old. A few days after that my second computer boots up and the monitor says entering power save mode. I can hear windows booting in the background, but the monitor is black. I switched out the monitor to see if it was the problem and got the same message with the second monitor. I was told that the watch battery for my XPS is the culprit, and was wondering if that is the problem. The computer doesn't make any beeps, all the lights turn on in the front blue and there are no diagnostic lights showing. I've tried taking out the graphics card and putting it back in, my motherboard has an amber light. So I'm at a loss as to what's wrong and if the watch battery could be whats wrong with the ibuypower as well. The power supply doesn't seem likely given the information I've researched about the symptoms. Any help would be greatly appreciated, just hard to believe both computers having a similar problem.
