My Dell monitor has been shaking, and today I turned it on with the computer and it flashed, and then turned off, then turned back on and flashed, then turned off, and made a clicking noise, and constantly did that. It kind of looked like it had lines like it was shaking like I described in the above link, but didn't show a picture, I could just see the backlight turning on and off, along with the power light. I pressed the power button and it did nothing. So I unplugged it, waited a bit and plugged it back in. It didn't turn on, I pressed the button, nothing. Tried that a few more times. Nothing. Turned the computer off and back on and nothing. I unplugged everything, including the cable from the monitor to the computer, blew it all with a can of compressed air, wiped some with a q-tip for harder dust, plugged it all back in, still won't turn on. I pressed ALL the buttons on the monitor and nothing. I wonder if it shaking was just it slowly breaking, and finally it just broke?
