Dell Dimension 5150 Desktop tower-Windows XP
My computer fans have started to run extremely fast and loud all the time even when I reboot. There is nothing else wrong with my system, but I don't know what is causing this? Could it be the age of the system? +/-9 years old. Nothing is clanging--just the loud sound of the fans spinning?
Any ideas? It was opened several months ago relative to a problem, and the hard drive was checked and it was fine. There was minimal dust in the tower and the air intakes are cleaned monthly so it is not plugged from the exterior.
