i have a Dell XPS420 that I bought with 2GB (2x1GB) OCZ Platinum 6400U 800MHz DDR2 Gaming Ram (OCZ2P800R22GK). I wanted to upgrade the RAM to 4GB or higher so bought two identical sticks. They work fine on start up and are recognised by the PC when its running. However, when the PC sleeps or I switch on after a prelonged shut down I have to take the sticks out boot up with 2GB inserted then shut down and restart. No matter which sticks are inserted new or old this happens.
can some help? i've updated the bios as I read that may cause the problem?
I am running windows 7 64 bit.
