I am running Win7 64bit.
So for some reason my USB ports does not read anything except my Nikon SLR - Apple Ipod and phone among other devices have all been successfully run from these ports, but as of a couple days ago - the PC fails to recognize anything except the camera.
I am wondering if this is a firmware issue and where is the USB 2.0 firmware download?
Also when viewed in Device Manager - none of the entries show any exclamation points or failure - I'm totally stumped.
Unfortunately I regularly remove old restore points to save disk space - as of yesterday - I had only 1 restore to choose from, but when attempting to choose that - it would reboot the pc and when it came to the desktop - it would tell me the restore failed and nothing had been changed - said it might have been due to a antivirus program, but I disabled them and tried it again and same thing.
I currently have the latest BIOS 1.30 & legacy USB support is enabled.
This pc is a Toshiba C655 S5512.
