Solved: Motherboard ESD

I just bought an open box motherboard today. Since it was an open box motherboard, I wanted to check if everything was included. While looking, I accidentally touched what I think is a capacitor. I did ground myself shortly before that, but I'm afraid I could have damaged the board. Can I damage the motherboard with ESD by touching a capacity?
