Solved: USB to Sata/IDE powered adapter recommendations

I'm looking to purchase in the UK a powered USB to IDE/SATA lead and having looked on ebay and amazon, I have not seen a unit with a decent set of reviews and UK plug

anyone actually purchased on of these units and could recommend a good quality unit.
I intend to use on customer provided harddrives, to attempt to recover data, so do not really want a low quality unit - read about a couple damaging the harddrive - which is the last thing I need

any now compatible with USB3
