Wireless mouse not responding, probably receiver problem

So, I have a Rapoo 7100p Wireless mouse and I was playing the first Assassin's Creed when I thought to myself: why not modify the mouse configuration and make it more Black Flag-ish(?) which by the way it's freaking impossible. So my journey to ruining my perfectly quiet night began : I installed a software from their site thinking it was the driver(because I didn't find the CD) but it was some kind of pairing software - I really don't know what that means but it's my first wireless thing so cut me some slack - which didn't work. I was intrigued - how could something that I DID not work? I unplugged the receiver :cool: annnndd lost to the gods of wireless-piss-me-off thing. Tried plugging in, out, in, out, in out. Oohh I forgot . :D The first time I tried re-plugging it in I accidentally put it in the USB3 port(stupid motherboard, tho usb2, two usb3 and again two usb2). I changed the batteries, tried unistalling, reinstalling, tried on my laptop, system restore, but nothing. The mouse works(well at least its lights) but it does not f*cking move !!!
C'mon guys, I know you have some good ideas, please help me avoid growing white hair tonight :(:(:(
