Just inherited daughter's Gateway LX6810-01 computer. It's running Windows 7. Wanted to reinstall operating system for a clean install to 'start over' , but cd/dvd player isn't working. Computer 'sees' it on computer screen (removeable drives). Tried to update driver software through device manager, but it says it's up to date.
