I completed the set-up of a new Dell Inspiron 3647 using a small extra monitor (NEC ) After moving the unit into its final location, I connected to a DAEWOO F207 monitor I had been using with my previous machine (Dell GX260). However the monitor only displayed a black screen. I then tried a Samsung 710MP monitor that also works on my Dell GX260). Again, monitor only displays a black screen. The GX260 is running XP Professional versus the Inspiron which has Windows 7.
New machine doesn't have (or couldn't find) drivers for the old monitors?
Compatibility issue with the video card?
