Hi there, I have a HP G42 i3 Laptop that is just taking really long to boot. It started acting this way ever since I came back from my backpacking trip to Europe last year (where I accidentally dropped my laptop bag with my laptop still in it).
I didn't see any change in the performance immediately after but rather a gradual decline in the performance after that...the most obvious of which is the time it takes to boot. The moment I turn on my laptop, I would need a good 10 minutes to come to the windows login page and another 20 - 30 minutes to get to my desktop. On the outside I have a slight dent at the corner of my laptop but other than that, it seems to look ok on the outside.
Another major issue I face as soon as I login to my desktop is that I experience major slowness and lag. Even a simple move of the mouse cursor would lag (although not often, it does happen)
Please help. Do let me know if more information is required. P.S. am not a tech savvy person. :)
