Hi everyone, first time posting here and the title pretty much says it all.
I am using a CRT monitor (Dell P1130), windows 7 64-bit and an AMD Radeon HD 6800 series, with the latest drivers and updates installed. The problem is that whenever I launch some games (like Team Fortress 2 or Skyrim), a light red tint appears on my monitor, which is especially notable when the background is dark (like night maps, black menus or dark dungeons). Note that the problem isn't there normally, like when browsing websites with a darker background or viewing dark images. It happens only when playing some particular games. So I assume that there isn't a problem with my monitor, since it can properly display all colors when not running these games.
I have tried calibrating the monitor using the simple windows guide and some basic guidelines found on the web. There had been some improvement but still, the problem remains. It bothers me a lot since I have spent plenty of time modding Skyrim, making it perform and look great and now the only annoying flaw is that red tint. And since it's a pretty dark game, this isn't something I can just ignore.
There is no point in screenshots, they look exactly as they should be and I found an old similar thread about this here, but it's closed and there wasn't any useful answer.
Any help would be appreaciated.
