which fan for my i5 2400 cpu

Hi guys

My board packed up working for my i5 cpu...i want to buy a new board gigabyte z77-ds3h s1155 intel z77 which says on the site that it supports this i5 2400 cpu...but which fan can i use on this cpu...the fan from the old motherboard didnt fit another board i tried...it said cpu not supported...but how do you match cpu fans to boards...normally i just buy a kit that has ram cpu mboard...any help appreciated...
